Join us on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 @5:30PM, for this year’s Women’s History Month event. This panel will explore the ongoing rise and historical context of the Asian American women experience in the U.S. and the impact of the violence, xenophobia, hyper-sexualization, and anti-Asian sentiment. We must acknowledge that the targets of these attacks often hold multiple identities at the intersections such as sex, race, ethnicity, class and sexuality. We will be analyzing the causes of gender-based violence that must be addressed through systemic solutions.

Stay until the very end for the raffle where you can enter to win one of three books!

  • Asian/Pacific Islander American Women: A Historical Anthology by Shirley Hune
  • Our Voices, Our Histories: Asian American and Pacific Islander Women by Shirley Hune
